ABOUT REBECCA
Irish répétiteur and collaborative pianist Rebecca Warren has worked extensively as a répétiteur and coach throughout Ireland and the UK. Productions include La voix humane, Trouble in Tahiti, Ernani, The Land of Might-Have-Been (Buxton International Festival 2025, 2024, 2023), Le maschere, La ciociara, Lalla Roukh (Wexford Festival Opera 2024, 2023, 2022), Aida, Madama Butterfly, and Die Zauberflöte (Irish National Opera 2018, 2019).
Rebecca made her debut as Musical Director for La fille du régiment while répétiteur with the Wexford Factory at Wexford Festival Opera in 2023, directing a condensed version of this Donizetti favourite from the piano. She resumed the role of Musical Director at Buxton International Festival in 2024, directing from the piano an arrangement for string trio of Ethel Smyth’s The Boatswain’s Mate. A graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (MMus Repetiteurship), Rebecca was répétiteur with the inaugural Irish National Opera Studio 2018/2019, in 2020 was awarded the prestigious Next Generation Artist Award by the Arts Council Ireland and in 2023 received the James H Geddes Award for Répétiteurs. She is delighted to have been recently awarded an Artist Residency at the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris.
