Irish répétiteur, collaborative pianist and choral conductor Rebecca Warren works extensively with singers, opera companies and festivals across Ireland and the UK. She has worked regularly as a répétiteur with Buxton International Festival since 2023, and with Wexford Festival Opera, where she was a Wexford Factory répétiteur in 2022/23 and has since worked professionally.

Recent and ongoing work at Buxton International Festival includes La voix humaine, Trouble in Tahiti, Ernani and The Land of Might-Have-Been (2023-2025). In 2026 she returns as répétiteur and Chorus Master for Lehár’s The Merry Widow. At Wexford Festival Opera, Rebecca has worked as répétiteur on Deidamia, Le maschere, La ciociara and Lalla Roukh (2022-2025). She has also directed reduced productions from the piano at the festival, serving as Musical Director for a condensed version of Donizetti’s La fille du régiment in 2023, and again in 2025 for a piano-led reduction of Peter Brook/Bizet’s La Tragédie de Carmen.

Rebecca has also worked as répétiteur with Irish National Opera on productions including Aida, Die Zauberflöte and Madama Butterfly (2018, 2019, 2025). Her operatic experience encompasses standard repertoire, lesser-known works and contemporary opera.

She maintains an active performance diary as a collaborative pianist and recitalist across Ireland and the UK, and regularly curates concert series and recitals in the South East of Ireland.

A graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (MMus Répétiteurship), Rebecca was répétiteur with the inaugural Irish National Opera Studio (2018-19) and in 2020 was awarded the Next Generation Artist Award by the Arts Council of Ireland. Her professional development also includes opera studio and academy work at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Saluzzo Opera Academy, Spazio Musica, and the Royal Irish Academy of Music.

Rebecca has received numerous awards including the James H. Geddes Award for Répétiteurs, the Bridget Doolan Memorial Award, and first prize in the Fintan O’Carroll Feis Senior Piano Competition. She has been accompanist for masterclasses with artists including Patricia Bardon, Josephine Barstow, Susan Bullock, Tara Erraught, Sally Matthews, Ann Murray, Paula Murrihy, Chris Purves, Joan Rodgers and Keith Warner.

She has a strong and longstanding background in choral work, with experience directing and assisting adult and children’s choirs in Ireland, and increasingly works as a choral conductor within operatic and project-based settings.

A trained classical violinist, Rebecca also holds an MA (Hons) in Classical String Performance from the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance and has performed professionally with chamber and symphony orchestras across Ireland and the UK. Passionate about contemporary music, she works closely with Irish and Ireland-based composers to workshop and promote new repertoire. She will be Artist-in-Residence at the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris in Spring 2026
